- Alliance for Educational Equity - parents, concerned citizens, and Framingham legislators have formed this organization to seek fairer educational funding from the Commonwealth and the Federal Government.
- A Place to Turn Food Pantry - committed to providing emergency food and clothing to those in the MetroWest community. Serves those in need in an atmosphere of caring and mutual respect.
- American Cancer Society - local office of national organization provides services and raises funds for research, prevention, detection and treatment of all types of cancer.
- American Red Cross/MetroWest - volunteer opportunities, disaster action, CPR/First Aid training, home health aide training, free blood pressure screenings, HIV/AIDS support, groups.
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Middlesex - Become a hero. Help a child grow into their dreams. Volunteers (18 and older) wanted to spend time with a boy or girl who needs a special friend. Play baseball... ride bikes... eat pizza... go fishing... enjoy a movie... go to the park... have fun!!!
- BNI - Business Networking International - non-compete networking for entreprenurial businesses.
- BRAMAS - Brazilian American Association - The mission of BRAMAS is to organize the Brazilian community in order to build an identity in the American Society. Organizar a comunidade Brasileira para se criar uma identidade na sociedade americana.
- Brazilian Children's Foundation - dedicated to creating a powerful, joyful and contributing Brazilian Society which nurtures its children.
- Boy Scouts - Knox Trail Council - educational program for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
- Citizens for a Strong Framingham (CSF) - This volunteer organization has come together to support the passage of the operational override in the election to held on June 11, 2002.
- Civil Air Patrol - local squadron serving the Metrowest community. Volunteer auxillary to the United States Air Force. Founded to utilitize privately owned aircraft to supplement U.S. forces.
- FAME - Framingham Arts Movement for Excellence. Supporting the arts in the Framingham schools.
- FLAME - (Framingham Lomonosov Association for Mutual Exchange), an all volunteer community-based organization formed to foster goodwill, understanding, and mutually beneficial exchanges between the citizens of Framingham, Massachusetts and its sister city Lomonosov, Russia.
- Framingham Amateur Radio Association - "FARA" - one of the oldest ham-radio clubs in America, wide range of activities; radio contests, family social events, special presentation, more! Monthly meetings (in Danforth Museum basement), W1FY, the club station and shack.
- Framingham Artists' Guild, Inc. - one of the largest visual art groups in the Framingham / Metrowest area. Demonstrations, critiques, art shows and special events. All meetings are free and open to the public.
- Framingham Auxiliary Police - an elite group of approximately 25 volunteers who give of themselves to make Framingham a better place to live and work.
- Framingham Civic League - advancing the civic, educational, and recreational opportunities of Framingham and it's people.
- Framingham Community Partners - is a group dedicated to strengthening families and community systems through collaboration.
- Framingham Democratic Town Committee - local arm of the Democratic Party.
- Framingham Garden Club, Inc. - group meets to discuss and work on gardening and related horticultural activities and performs fundraising for local community service projects.
- Framingham Hadassah - (Framingham & Natick, Chapter of)
the Women's Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer women's organization.
- Framingham History Center (formerly the Framingham Historical Society - non-profit organization founded in 1888 for the purpose of preserving and understanding Framingham's rich and varied past. The society maintains its collections at The Old Academy Museum in Framingham Centre.
- Framingham High School Foundation - non-profit organization providing support & funding for extracurricular activities - arts & athletics - at FHS. Runs annual Salute to Framingham dinner.
- Framingham-Natick Toastmasters Club - This international volunteer organization is dedicated to helping people improve their public speaking skills.
- Framingham Public Library Foundation - (FPLF), non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2010 to raise funds for a new branch library in Nobscot, and to create an endowment fund to supplement Town funding of Framingham public libraries.
- Framingham Rotary Club - a service organization of business and professional people who enjoy networking with others, being active in the community, and improving life in our own community and worldwide. Rotarians are from varied backgrounds, professions, ages, sexes, and ethnicities and are dedicated to the ideal of Service Above Self.
- Framingham Taxpayers Association - non-partisan organization represents interests of the taxpayers of Framingham, MA and advocates for highly cost-effective, fiscally responsible municipal government in Framingham.
- Friends of Framingham Library - volunteer and member organization, runs monthly book sales, non-profit, raises funds to purchase additional library materials, runs related programs.
- Friends of Saxonville - organization established to preserve, enhance, and protect the cultural, environmental, and historical qualities of Framingham's Saxonville neighborhood area.
- Gateway Camera Club - for area photographers, beginners and advanced.
- Girl Scouts - (Patriots' Trail Girl Scout Council)
- Heritage Chorale, The - more than ninety-five singers from twenty-five communities throughout the Metrowest area participate in the Chorale's varied musical programs, including three concerts per season in the Framingham area.
- IAAP, International Association of Administrative Professionals, South Middlesex Chapter - promoting the education and recognition of the office professional.
- Jewish Family Services of Metrowest - non-sectarian social service organization providing adoption, homecare, counseling, parent education and supports, elder services, New American and citizenship services among its array of programs.
- Leadership MetroWest - respected and established nonprofit community leadership development organization serving the region for 28 years. Our goal is to encourage and empower participants and alumni of our signature program, the Leadership Academy, to be more effective, engaged and collaborative leaders to move the region forward.
- MA Mothers of Twins Assoc. - (West Suburban Chapter), educational, social and emotional support to mothers and expectant mothers of multiples in Boston's western suburbs.
- Meals on Wheels - elder nutrition program locally administered by Baypath Elder Services, Inc, a Marlborough, MA based non-profit which provides in-home services to elders in Framingham and 13 surrounding communities.
- MetroWest Center for Independent Living - a non-profit organization that provides peer counseling, information & referral, independent living skills training, and advocacy to individuals with disabilities in the Framingham area.

- MetroWest Mothers & More - - a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers’ needs as individuals and members of society, and promote the value of all the work mothers do.
- Narrow Path Ministries- offers training for ministers, working on establishing a shelter & halfway house.
- National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - grassroots, self-help, support and advocacy organization of relatives and friends of the mentally ill and persons living with mental illness.
- Neighbor Brigade - community-based network of
volunteers providing non-medical help to neighbors in need during times of temporary crisis.
- New England Wild Flower Society, The - native plant conservation organization - operates Framingham's "Garden In The Woods".
- New Sound Assembly Chorus - (Formerly "Gateway Guardsmen") Barber Shop Quartet Singing, non-sectarian group that sings for groups like rest homes, or at community events.
- Parents Helping Parents - support groups and parental stress call line for MetroWest area parents and caregivers.
- Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) - accredited non-profit community school offering private and group lessons in all instruments, including voice, group classes in dance and drama, and early childhood music and movement.
- Regional AIDS Consortium ("onTRAC") - a place for people infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS to access services they need or to participate in activities with others who want to make a difference in the battle to fight AIDS.
- Salvation Army - Organization provides many services to the community including; meals programs, work training, counseling, help for the blind, deaf, elderly and handicapped, drug rehabilitation programs, AA Meetings, and of course the Thrift Store!
- Samaritans, Suburban West - 24 hour suicide prevention hotline
- S.A.R.A. - Search And Rescue Association - nonprofit organization which assists local and state authorities in coordinating missing person search efforts. Made up of volunteers & resources throughout New England.
- Special Olympics Massachusetts MetroWest Area - provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of well-coached Olympic-type sports for individuals considered to have mental retardation and other closely related disabilities.
- Southeastern Massachusetts Community Concert Band - performs throughout the Boston MA metro-west area. This is a concert band for musicians of all ages and many skill levels.
- Stearns Organic Farm - Community Supported Agriculture - educational outreach and services to the community.
- Sudbury Valley Trustees - a voluntary association of individuals, families, and businesses committed to protecting wildlife habitat and the ecological integrity of the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord Rivers.
- TCAN: The Center for Arts in Natick - a vibrant local concert venue and community center featuring live music, dance, community theater and visual art in Downtown Natick.
- United Way - provides assistance to individuals, families and communites including health services, emergency food & shelter, outreach programs and wide range of other services.
- Veterans Outreach Center - Metrowest - provides a variety of human and social services, at no charge, to veterans of the Armed Forces (and their families).
- Wayside Youth & Family Services Network - a non-profit human services agency annually providing services to over 6,800 people from the MetroWest, Blackstone Valley and Greater Boston communities.
