Help support the Framingham Garden Club!

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The Framingham Garden Club Inc., is a group of  "energetic doers, passionate about gardening, floral design and community service."

The club holds its Annual Green Sale to raise money to fund beautification work around Framingham and to fund the environmental or horticultural related grants and scholarships it awards to Framingham students and teachers.

Each year The Framingham Garden Club awards two scholarships to high school students who wish to pursue horticultural or environmental related college studies and attend Framingham High School, Marian of Keefe Tech.

In addition to scholarships, the club makes grants to Framingham Public School teachers to expand horticultural and environmental curricula in our schools.  Last but not least, the club provides funding to those who wish to intern at Garden in the Woods. (See club website for scholarship and grant info).

Beautification work done by the club can be seen at Cushing Chapel, Nobscot Park, Saxonville Dam, The McAuliffe Library, Danforth Museum, Edgell Memorial Library and other locations throughout Framingham.

The 2011 Holiday Green Sale will be held Friday December 2nd from 10:00am - 3:00pm, and Saturday December 3rd from 9:00am - 1:00pm at the Maintenance Building within Cushing Memorial Park, (use the Keefe Tech entrance on Winter Street, and follow signs).

The club will be selling:

• Centerpieces
• Outdoor Baskets
• Custom Floral Arrangements
• Decorative Gift Items

Cushing Memorial Park, (formerly called Tercentennial Park), is located between Dudley Road and Winter Street, (opposite Farm Pond). Use the Keefe Tech entrance on Winter Street, and follow signs to Green Sale!
