FRAMINGHAM, MA - Motorists are advised that there may be detours or slow moving traffic due to construction work being performed during daytime hours on the following roads in Framingham during the week of November 21st through the 27th, 2021. Please note: construction schedules are weather permitting and subject to change.

Arlington Street Water, Sewer, and Roadway Improvements Design - Surveying will be conducted on Alexander Street, Summit Street, Wellington Avenue, and a portion of Eames Street. Minor traffic impacts at times may occur.

Eversource Electric Transmission Structure Inspections - Eversource Electric and Osmose Utility will inspect existing transmission structures via drone and on foot. Inspections will be conducted 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday-Saturday. Sporadically, some work will be performed on Sundays. Franklin Street Gas Main Replacement - Eversource gas will continue replacing gas main on Franklin Street between Arch Street and Day Hill Road. Expect minor delays. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

Miscellaneous Roadway Improvements – Colby Avenue, Dinsmore Avenue, Hallett Road, North Street, Pierce Street, School Street, and Townsend Terrace. Paving operations will be conducted. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.

Newton Place and Day Hill Road Gas Main Replacement - Eversource gas will replace gas main on Newton Place and Day Hill Road. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.

Osmose Utility Pole Inspections and Restoration - Verizon - Dig safe paint markings will be noticeable in the public right-of-way near telephone poles throughout Framingham for Osmose’s utility pole inspections and restoration. Union Avenue Gas Main Replacement - Eversource Gas will continue replacing gas main on Union Avenue between Prescott Street and Union Ave. Terrace. Expect minimal to moderate delays. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect.

Union Avenue Roadway Improvements Project - MassDOT’s contractor, E.T.& L., will continue installing construction signage throughout the project limits. Expect minor delays.

Urban Street Sweeping Program – Area D - The Highway Division will street sweep Area D on Tuesday, November 23. NO PARKING will be allowed from 9 AM to Noon. Vehicles parked on the street will be ticketed and towed. The following streets will be swept during this operation: Beaver Court, Beaver Park Road, Beaver Street, Beaver Terrace Circle, Coolidge Street, First Street, Interfaith Terrace, Marian Road, Morton Street, Picard Terrace, Second Street, Taralli Terrace, Third Street, and Willis Street.

Wood Terrace Gas Main Replacement - Eversource Gas will continue replacing gas main on Wood Terrace. Expect minor delays. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.
