"As part of our mission to engage and serve this community, we think this alliance with the Talking Information Center is a wonderful way to help facilitate the exchange of ideas and information for a wide audience", says Access Framingham Executive Director, Bill McColgan.

"We are delighted to be able to provide this service to those in need in Framingham", says Ron Bersani, the Executive Director of Talking Information Network. "We appreciate the support of Access Framingham".

First begun in Marshfield, MA in 1978, TIC broadcasts the reading of newspapers, magazines, books, and consumer information 24 hours per day and 7 days a week through their own website (ticnetwork.org) as well as a network of cable and radio outlets. Access Framingham will run Talking Information Center audio whenever the channel’s community bulletin board is being telecast, as well as at specific times during the daily schedule.

Each weekday from 5:00 to 5:30pm, TIC telecasts the reading of the MetroWest Daily News, and Access Framingham will carry that half-hour in its entirety.

For more information about TIC, including its program schedule, you can visit ticnetwork.org.

AF-TV can be seen in the Town of Framingham on Comcast Channel 9, RCN Channel 3, and Verizon Channel 43. For more information about Access Framingham programming, training, and services, please call the Studio at 508-875-5434.
