FRAMINGHAM, MA - Children's most popular question during the month of December; "How much longer 'til Christmas?" can be answered down to the day, hour, minute and second thanks to NORAD, (The North American Aerospace Defense Command).

For the past couple years the NORAD Santa Tracker website has provided real-time, up to the minute reporting of where Santa is, how many presents he's delivered, and when he may be at your house -- and this year they've added links to see real time video of Santa's delivery route, a virtual "cookie counter", (to see how many snacks St. Nick eats during his Christmas Eve work),  links to track Santa using Google Earth and more!

Although most tracking features will not be activated 'til Dec. 24th -- there's plenty to see and do at the Santa Tracker website now!

Aside from checking-in just to see how much longer it will be before ol' Kris Kringle visits, there's a "Countdown Village" with Christmas themed games kids can play and all are completely free!

Games include Christmas Crosswords, Tic-Tac-Toe, "Whack-a-Grinch", "Snowball Warrior" -- and a new holiday game is added every day during the month of December.

There's also lots of info and answers to frequently asked questions about Santa.

Under the heading of "Is Santa real?", you can listen to audio recordings of eight year old Virgina O'Hanlon's  1897 letter to the New York Sun newspaper -- and the editor's response, which includes the iconic phrase, "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus".
