2011-2012 First Day of School:

• Monday, August 29th - First Day for Teachers

• Monday, August 29th -  Grade 9 Transition day, (for freshman entering Framingham High School)

• Tuesday, August 30th - First Day of School (Grades 1-12)

• Wednesday, August 31th - First Day of Kindergarten

• Monday, September 5th - Labor Day. Including the Monday holiday, Framingham public school kids can enjoy a long weekend starting at the close of school of Friday, September 2nd, and return to school on the morning of Tuesday, September 6th!

• Tuesday, September 6th - First Day for Pre-School

2011-2012 School Hours:

• Framingham High School - 7:25 am to 1:55 pm

• Thayer Campus - 7:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

• Middle Schools - 8:15 am to 2:25 pm

• Elementary Schools: (includes Full Day Kindergarten)
• Barbieri, Brophy, Dunning, Stapleton & Wilson - 9:05 am to 3:05 pm
• Hemenway & Potter Road - 9:10 am to 3:10 pm
• McCarthy - 8:15 am to 2:15 pm

• Half-Day Kindergarten Sessions:
• Barbieri - (all full day)
• Brophy,  Dunning, Stapleton & Wilson - 9:05 am to 11:45 am
• Hemenway & Potter Road - 9:10 am to 11:45 am
• McCarthy - 8:15 am to 10:55 am

Dismissal Times for Early Release Days:

• High School - 10:50 a.m.
• Middle Schools - 11:25 a.m.
• Elementary Schools (except McCarthy)
• Full Day Kindergarten and Grades 1–5 at 1:00 p.m.

• Full Day Kindergarten, Grades 1–5 at 12:15 p.m.
