Memorial Day Observances in Framingham 2009
FRAMINGHAM, MA - This year’s theme at the Framingham Memorial Day ceremonies will be, "Let us not forget our fallen veterans."
Assemble at 8 a.m. at the rear of the Memorial Building.
At each location the service will include: Officer of the Day Abbey Anderson; Prayer by unit Chaplain Robert Anspach; Placing of the wreaths: Cmdr. Pinsley Post 157 Jewish War Veterans, Cmdr. Johnson Post 929 Veterans of Foreign Wars; Salute to the dead (firing squad and taps); Sound truck 1946 Dodge Oil delivery truck Charles Rousseau
8 a.m., Assemble-Rear of Memorial Building
8:15 a.m., Leave by car/ bus
8:30 a.m., Old Burial Grounds, Main St – Eulogy Fred Wallace
9 a.m., St Edward’s Cemetery
9:30 a.m., St. Edwards for break
10 a m , Athenaeum Hall –Boy Scouts /Cub Scouts Troop 12
10:30 a m , Veterans Park
11 a.m., Memorial Building
