FRAMINGHAM, MA -- Ahoy, Mateys! Framingham Community Theater proudly presents their next wildly fun mystery dinner theater production... THE PIRATES OF FRAMINGHAM: A Swashbuckling Tale of Legend & Treasure! written by the FCT Writers Group.

Four performances are scheduled for April 24 & 25 and May 1 & 2, at 7:30 p.m.

The Pirates of Framingham is an original mystery dinner theater production based on the REAL legend of Captain Kidd's pirate treasure buried in Framingham 's Learned Pond.

THE PREMISE: Billie and Annie are cleaning out their mother's house. They come across an old journal clearly written by a pirate. The journal comes to life and we meet Captains Krunch & Morgen and their crews in the Caribbean just before they depart for New England. But who wrote the journal? And where is the treasure hidden? The audience will solve the mystery!

This production is directed by Mark Bedell, a veteran Hollywood Stunt Coordinator. Mark has been seen in everything from "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" to "The West Wing." He has worked with many television and film companies including the History Channel, Spike TV, the Sci-Fi Channel and Showtime. Mark is a Certified Fight Director with the Society of Professional Staged Combat. This show is sure to have a killer sword fight scene!(Well, hopefully not literally...)

TICKETS: Before April 3: All tickets $37 (Early Bird Special!) After April 3: Tickets are $40 each; $38 for students/seniors 65+, $380 for a table of 10. Ticket price includes admission to the show AND a 3-course dinner provided by local caterer Currier & Chives.
