FRAMINGHAM, MA -- The fourth annual Festival of Extraordinary Food is coming up Tuesday, April 14th. Those of you who know our Festival are already calling for your reservations. For those who haven't yet tried this fabulous event, here's the scoop:

WHAT: 20+ local restaurants and specialty food providers offer you tastings of their signature dishes. Restaurants include Naked Fish, British Beer Company, The Melting Pot, Rasoi, and lots of others, plus Dream Dinners, Framingham Baking Company, Sweet Boutique, Starbucks, and more.

Try anything and everything -- whatever tickles your fancy. Ask the chef about preparations, specials, and new menu items.

Live jazz adds to the atmosphere, fine wines and beer selections (cash bar)complement the food, and the lovely Village Hall is elegant all by itself.

WHY: (aside from having a great time!) to benefit Framingham Education Foundation and its grant programs in schools throughout the Framingham Public School District. FEF funds innovative education programs in all subjects and all grades. If you have children in the System, chances are they have benefited from FEF grant programs. As budgets get cut and cut again, FEF grants are sometimes the only way teachers can try out their new ideas.

Restaurants donate their food and sponsors contribute to the cause -- thank you NMTW Community Credit Union and Chris Petersen of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, and others! So your entire ticket price goes to support educational programs.
