FRAMINGHAM, MA -- The Framingham Police Association and the Framingham Fire Department Local 1652 are sponsoring the 14th Annual Turkey Classic Road Race.

The race is on Thanksgiving Day at 8 a.m. The 3.1 mile course begins and ends at the Framingham Police Station, Union Ave., Downtown Framingham. There is a cash prize of $ 100 to the top male and female finishers in several categories.

The entry fee is $ 20 for pre-registrants with proceeds benefiting the Women's Independent Network and the Veteran's Outreach Center.

The first 600 pre-registrants will receive a free long-sleeved T-Shirt.

Participants can also sign up the day of the race for $ 20, but will not receive a free T-Shirt. The race is limited to 1,000 runners.
