The Tercentennial Coverlet

Well worth the $60.00 price, the coverlet, created by We Love Country, measures (approx.) 46 x 68 inches and is fringed on all four sides.   It's 100% cotton, two-layer, Jacquard woven in the U.S.A., and is preshrunk, colorfast and machine washable.

The coverlet design captures some of the history and spirit of Framingham, and includes images of the Official Tercentennial Logo, (designed by Richard Thorne, a Framingham student), the Town Seal, (designed in 1900 for the Town's bicentennial), The Framingham Academy, (the building now houses the Framingham Historical Society), the Memorial Building, (current Town Hall and newly renovated Nevins Hall), Village Hall, (built in 1847, the building with it's twin staircase ballroom and columned porticos is now rented out for weddings, meetings, and special functions), Cushing Chapel, (a WWII era hospital chapel now being restored),

Edgell Grove Chapel, (a beautiful stone and stained glass chapel located in the Edgell Grove Cemetery), Athenaeum Hall, (which served as Saxonville Town Hall, a jail, a school, and is now being restored also), Edgell Memorial Llibrary, (a stone fortress like building which now houses some of the collection of the Framingham Historical Society), and the Hollis Street Fire Station, (one of the last two high-Victorian era fire stations which remain in Framingham --- its tower was used to hang-dry canvas hoses after each fire -- the station is currently being converted to a Community Center).

The coverlet is the perfect gift for family members and friends both near and far, and is sure to become an instant keepsake.
