Scholarly & Creative Showcase (at Framingham State University)
Scholarly and Creative Showcase - Martyrs, Grifters, and Believers: Maribo's Spectacle - Live performance by Christian Gentry, Associate Professor of Music and talkback moderated by Tim McDonald, Professor of Art. Thursday, October 17, 2024, Heineman Ecumenical Center 6-8pm. Maribo is Christian Gentry's solo live electronic music project that explores the mashing of industrial, ambient, and experimental music, with sprinkles of plunderphonics and field recordings. His recent project, Spectacle, interrogates the violently interconnected worlds of religious and political fanaticism, police brutality, and late-stage capitalism.
