The Love Dogs
Take one red-hot horn section - we're talkin' alto, tenor, baritone saxes and trombone - down and dirty. Add liberal amounts of barrelhouse boogie-woogie piano and stinging Fender guitar, and top it all off with a crazy and charismatic front man with one of the biggest blues voices around. Season with a few years on the road tearing up juke joints, festivals and concert halls across the U.S. and Canada and on both sides of the Atlantic. Sound tasty? It's a recipe for music and mayhem, for intensity and irreverence; it's THE LOVE DOGS.

The New Familiars
From the foothills of Appalachia a new musical combo has appeared; grown from seeds of the folk, blues, and bluegrass found abundant in the Carolinas, yet shaped by the undeniable power of rock and roll. Known as The New Familiars, these five gentlemen combine an amazing passion for harmony with multi-instrumental talent and unusual storytelling abilities. While describing their songwriting as "folk music from the core", the band has constantly stretched the boundaries of 'genre labels'. Since their debut in late 2006, they've fused the multitudes of musical influences that each member brings to the table onto a foundation built upon traditional instruments such as resonator guitar, mandolin, banjo and harmonica. Yet glimpses of new material hint towards even broader musical horizons while still maintaining - and even reinforcing - the unique sound that has so defined the band.

Lucky 13 unites the singing and songwriting talents of national touring artists Cathy Kreger, Marci Geller & Susan DeVita. With eclectic styles and unique voices, together their tight harmonies and life stories invite their audience in and mesmorize them.Barbara Kessler: It's not the hooks, the Froom-like production, or even the songs that make this album one of the best by any contemporary singer/songwriter in years. What puts her over the top is her voice, a smoothly subtle and sometimes jazzy, versatile soprano full of surprises.
