The Monthly Charity Breakfast and Food Drive will be held on Saturday, the 4th of August, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at the Framingham Masonic Hall, 404 Concord Street, Framingham. Peace Pole to be Planted in Framingham
Peace Poles are planted all over the world and The Center of Light will be planting its new Peace Pole this Saturday, August 18, at 11:00 am, on its property at 85 Edgell Road. This Peace Pole was a first-prize award won by Adelle (Samantha) Bennett, a teen member of the Center of Light, in the 2011, 14th Annual Peace Pals International Arts Exhibition (which is part of the worldwide Annual United Nations Day of Peace on September 21.) Adelle, a student at Marion High School, is generously donating the Peace Pole to the Center of Light to make a community Peace Garden near the sidewalk.
