Veterans Acupuncture Care
A local group of volunteer acupuncturists is offering free community acupuncture for veterans, active military, first responders and their families. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. The ongoing clinic will be open the hours of 10 a.m.-12 noon every Saturday. Last sitting is 11:30 am. Walk in. No appointment needed. Styrofoam Recycling Event
This event is open to All residents and All Non-residents of Framingham from 10-3. Bring your EPS Foam or more commonly called Styrofoam to Grace Congregational Church at 76 Salem End Road in Fram. We are accepting packing peanuts for the UPS store at Temple St. in Framingham (packaged separately from your foam) All labels, paper, cardboard, and tape must be removed from each piece of Foam and all food related containers and cups MUST be rinsed or washed before bringing. Please consider helping us to defray expenses with a voluntary contribution. Locavore Potluck Picnic 2-5pm at Butterworth Park
A locavore is a person interested in eating food that is locally produced, not moved long distances to market. Please bring a dish to share that is made with at least one locally grown ingredient.
