Surface Decoration Series
Join us this spring in welcoming guest artist Annie Buchholz! In a series of Saturday workshops, Annie will be teaching a variety of surface decoration, including mishima, slip trailing, encaustic, slip design, and more! Students will be provided with a tile or cylinder to work on; Students enrolled in Spring Semester Classes can save $10 per workshop by bringing their own leather hard or bisqued pieces to work on (you must call to register to receive this discount). A Celebration of Race Amity Day

Charlie Baker, the second Sunday of June is Race Amity Day in our state. Race Amity Day was begun with the support of the Baha'i community as a day to focus on building friendship to break down racial barriers.We will celebrate Race Amity Day a week early, on June 4. At our gathering, we will play a new non-competitive board game called "Breaking It Down Towards E Pluribus Unum." The purpose of the game is to encourage and assist people to talk about race in a non‐toxic manner with a focus on amity, emotional safety, learning and mutual support.Bring a friend and join us for an engaging and thoughtful way to build understanding and friendship.Please register on our website to help us plan.

Session on Wednesday, June 7th from 7:00PM - 8:00PM at it's studio location on 4 Vernon Street in Framingham Centre. Participants will learn more about the Framingham community media center's resources, take a tour of the high-definition (HD) equipment, studios, control rooms and basic operation of JVC cameras available for field recording.Membership is available to anyone who lives, works, attends school in Framingham or is affiliated with a Framingham-based organization. Rectangular Clay Lanterns
Learn to make beautiful hand-built clay lanterns for your home or garden! Instructor Sam Nelson will walk you through how to make either a round or rectangular lantern, including carving, decoration, and color. Framingham History Center Annual Meeting
After a short annual meeting where we need you, our members and donors, to vote on our budget and slate of officers, author J.L. Bell will speak about his most recent book, The Road to Concord: How Four Stolen Canon Ignited the Revolutionary War. Colonel Henry Knox's journey from Fort Ticonderoga to Dorchester Heights with his "cannon train" is one of the most famous stories of the Revolutionary War and Framingham was one of the stops on the journey. But what do we really know about Knox's operation? His diary stops before reaching Framingham, leaving John Adams' letters as the primary source of information. Adams stopped in Framingham to review the cannon on his way to the Continental Congress in Philadelphia. Mr. Bell will be signing copies of his book following the program. Kids Interfaith Woodland and Wetland Adventure Week
Camp locations include Open Spirit, Garden in the Woods, Upper Mill Brook Conservation Area in Wayland, and Nobscot Reservation. We will also go canoeing.Explore the wonders of woods and fields and streams!Play games, explore trails and investigate rivers, brooks, and ponds. Make friends with a tree and get wet.Make nature crafts, keep a nature journal, and catch bugs. Every session will include hikes, activities, lunch time, and quiet time.
