Framingham Rec Swim Team
Sign up for the Framingham Rec Swim Team will be on Monday, May 18th, from 5:30-6:30 PM at the Academy Building in Framingham. For more information, including a copy of the calendar, contact Head Coach Joey Sementelli at joeysementelli@gmail.com or 508-561-6500. The Framingham Rec Swim Team is a developmental swim program for kids ages 6-18. Swimmers commit to practices and competitions at Keefe Technical High School, Monday-Thursday evenings, from the beginning of June through the first week in August. The program is geared towards developing the skills necessary for competitive swimming, but is not designed to teach members how to swim. Participants should be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle (front crawl) and 25 yards of backstroke continuously (YMCA Guppy Level and Red Cross Level 4). In addition to practices and competitions, the program offers a variety of optional team events, such as a movie night, beach trip, and pasta party, in an effort to build team unity and team spirit. The team is LOTS OF FUN! The team provides a great introduction to a lifelong love for competitive swimming. We hope you join us!
