28th Annual Framingham Christmas Tree Lighting (City Hall)
Friday, December 6th 2019, festivities from 5:45pm 'til 8:00pm *** All are welcome to watch as Santa & Mrs. Claus use a little holiday magic to light a 35-foot white spruce tree in front of City Hall. *** Before Santa & Mrs. Claus light the tree, the Girl Scouts will help get people in the holiday mood with some merry music, and Framingham Public Library staff will hand out popcorn to attendees. *** Afterward, everyone will head inside for cookies, hot chocolate, a concert from the Framingham Middle Schools Jazz Band, face painting from Keefe Tech, and visits and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, (this year, taken in front of a green screen and available for digital download the next day for free!) *** For the second year, each child will get a book. *** Framingham City Hall, 150 Concord Street, Framingham, MA.

Everything you buy at this fair helps to make our world a better place. There is Fair Trade coffee, tea and chocolates -- high quality and delicious, and sourced to ensure that the farmers earn a living wage. There are beautiful international handicrafts, also Fair Trade, so that most of the profit goes to the artisans. There are scarves that go to help A Place to Turn Food Pantry, crafts to support vulnerable neighbors, and more! 2).
