Fabric Painting and Printing Tec (at Danforth Art)
Adult Mixed Media Workshop. Spend a day in play and experiment with an array of methods for applying color and pattern to fabric. Work with exhibiting artist Merill Comeau to learn direct painting, crayon and stitched resist, block printing and thermafax screening. Presentations will include resources for inspiration, color theory and samples of patterns. A local group of volunteer acupuncturists is offering free community acupuncture for veterans, active military, first responders and their families. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. Caroling on the Common
Join our traditional holiday celebration! On Saturday, December 14th, Open Spirit in Framingham will be offering several hours of healing and relaxation with Reiki, healing appointments, and Akashic Records Readings. Guest Speaker: musicologist Gilad Harel 7:00pm –This opera program focuses on Mozart's "Die Zauberfloete" (The Magic Flute, 1791), examining some of the more unusual traits found in this opera.
