Jean-Marie Corrois Quartet
Rhythm... everything in this universe is about rhythm...from the microcosm to the macrocosm everything moves on its own path. For French born musician, Jean-marie Corrois, drumming has been a true love story. Inherently attracted as a child by a wide range of music, his current focus is more organic …a blending of Jazz, Latin, African, Brazilian and Indian rhythms. Specific grooves and their influences in the history of music have brought hope, joy and courage to humanity despite centuries of human struggles. When Jean-marie performs, he is sharing his love for diversity, blending the cultural colors of original music with his audience. More than 20 years of performance and teaching in Europe, and now five years in the United States, he has had the opportunity to connect with a wide spectrum of world musicians.

Oen Kennedy CD release concert
On this night, Oen Kennedy is releasing his fifth CD, and is entering into fresh artistic territory. After a successful 2008, during which Oen's song "Annapurna" won the Boston Folk Festival Songwriting contest, Oen has launched into a new creative phase. Besides more exciting forays into the natural world, this new batch of songs is also a celebration of humans who touch other's lives. One song, "Herb," is a mini-hymn about a real man who is also an angel. Once again, Oen will take you on a green musical adventure, and with the help of expert musician-friends, we'll take flight together into the blue (and the blues)!

The Two Man Gentlemen Band
Free kazoos, impeccably tailored outfits, rowdy sing-alongs, furious banjo strumming, and a set full of quirky, clever, sometimes-naughty original tunes. That's The Two Man Gentlemen Band's formula for a good, old-fashioned musical spectacle. The New York City based The Two Man Gentlemen Band combines hot jazz, old-time country, tin pan alley, and vaudevillian swing to create a joyous two-man sound that is all their own. Performing with plectrum banjo, string bass, kazoos, and foot percussion, The Gentlemen whip themselves into a frenzy that is unlike any acoustic duo on the road today. With the energy of a band two or three times their numbers, The Two Man Gentlemen Band concocts a ruckus that is lively, danceable, and insanely fun.

Scamps Comedy presents: Tim McIntire; E. J. Murphy; and Ed Kopesky
Scamps Comedy returns with a hilarious lineup headed up by Tim McIntire, who has been one of the most prolific comics in Boston for nearly a decade. He began his career in Colorado and honed his act on the road, working every comedy club, roadhouse, and speakeasy between California and Pennsylvania. After moving to Boston "to move in with a hot girlfriend who would eventually become his hot wife," he quickly gained notoriety for his Thursday Night Fights at the Comedy Studio, his edgy hosting job for the Boston Music Awards, and for his first comedy CD, Poor Impulse Control. Joining McIntire, is the hilarious E.J. Murphy, a Vermont native who has become a fixture in the Boston and New York City comedy scene, and hot newcomer Ed Kopesky.
