Centre Music House Fall Lessons Start September 4
Centre Music House is excited to welcome you to the start of the new school year! We hope the first day back was a great experience. We'd like to share with you that fall music lessons start on Tuesday, September 4th. We are happy to announce two new class offerings, Group Ukulele and Beginner Guitar 101. These classes will start in September and run for 10 weeks. We also offer private lessons with the MetroWest area's best instructors on a wide range of instruments. Open Mic Night Presented By Centre Music House
The wildly popular Open Mic Night Presented by Centre Music House has moved to a new location! Located in downtown Framingham, Sofa Cafe will now be hosting this monthly event. Open Mic Night will be presented on the last Friday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Over the past 8 years, Open Mic Night Presented by Centre Music House has developed into an extremely popular monthly show for music lovers to support musicians of all ages and levels. All musicians and budding musicians are welcome to participate in this event.A backline is provided for performers which includes a P.A. system, microphones, drum set, amplifiers, and a keyboard. You may bring your own personal instruments (guitars, woodwinds, brass, violins, etc.) and effects. Plymouth Church in Framingham Hosts Fall Fair
On Saturday, September 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., The Plymouth Church in Framingham is excited to invite the entire community to its annual Fall Fair. Now in its 50th year, The Plymouth Church Fall Fair is a beloved autumn tradition.This event boasts something for everyone: a huge "White Elephant" tag sale, an Old-Fashioned Country Store with homemade jams, fudge and candies, themed gift baskets, handmade gifts, crafts shop, costume shop, books for all ages, Christmas crafts and decorations, and a variety of fun activities for kids, including a Star Wars Slide and Bounce House, and a free magic show featuring local talent JoJo the Magician. And there's plenty to eat including a cookie walk, bake sale, luncheonette, hot dog stand, and popcorn booth. New to the Fair this year is a Fair Trade booth offering unique food and delicacies made by international artisans. You won't want to miss out on this fun-for-all-ages community event!
