Franklin St. Cafe - Ribbon Cutting!
After 18 months of renovations and very detailed space (and menu!) planning, the Franklin St. Cafe has finally opened! Celebrate this new hang-out spot, easily walkable from the library, hospital, university, and more! On the banks of the historic Harmony Grove, this small business will incite further exciting investments into this cherished pleasure area! We're honored to support owners Elen and Anderson Barros for dedicating themselves to downtown Framingham!

Moon Landing 50th Anniversary (at FSU McAuliffe Center Planetarium)
Join us at the McAuliffe Center on Thursday afternoon, July 18 as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of humanity's "One Giant Leap"" This special open house event begins at 2:30 pm, with hands-on activities for the whole family through 6:00 pm, out of this world planetarium shows, and Apollo-themed films. Our evening will end with a single screening of a brand new film (not full dome) about this historic day, which will start at 6:30 pm in the FSU Planetarium and conclude at 7:15 pm.

Friends Fest at McAuliffe Library
Stop by the Christa McAuliffe Branch Library (746 Water St, Framingham) between 9:30am - 3pm. Browse adult and children's books at this outdoor sale, enjoy a $2 BBQ lunch, participate in children's games and activities, and browse the Spark Lab and Library of Things tables. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library which in turn supports library programming, summer reading, and so much more. Check it out!

Locavore Potluck Picnic
Come check out one of the tastiest events of the year!This event will be held at Farm Pond Park. Please park in the U shaped parking lot located at 109 Dudley Road, Framingham. The picnic will be visible from the parking lot, located in the grove of trees between the playground and Farm Pond. See the parking / location map in the comments.* Please bring an easy to share dish, made with at least one locally grown ingredient. * There will be many other dishes from other folks to share.* Please bring a lawn chair or blanket as well.* We will provide tables for the food, plates, flatware, cups, water and ice tea.A LOCAVORE is a person interested in eating food that is locally produced, not moved long distances to market.

The Market at Barn 3 - Vintage & Artisan Monthly Market
Join us for our vintage-inspired market on Eastleigh Farm, The Market at Barn 3. This is an outdoor vintage and artisan monthly market that will run thru October on the 4th weekend (Sat & Sun), 10-4pm. Admission is free. Eastleigh Farm is located at 1062 Edmands Road, Framingham, MA 01701. We'll have vintage & artisan vendors. Jewelry, photography, candles, vintage, antiques & more!
