Saturday, June 8, 2:00 pm *** Coburnville & Tripoli Neighborhood *** Join us for the first Hikes Through History tour of the year where our local historians will guide you on an hour-long tour(ish) through the fascinating neighborhood of Coburnville-Tripoli. During the tour, you will learn about the thriving past and present of the neighborhood, from the secret rubber history to the delicious history of La Cantina. Framingham Repair Cafe
Got something that needs fixing or mending? Bring it to the Repair Cafe' Sunday, June 9th, 2024 at 2:00pm to 5:00pm in Scott Hall at 24 Vernon St, Framingham. Our volunteers can help fix many things for free including: clothing, lamps, small appliances, computers/other electronics, bikes, batteries, toys, jewelry, and sewing machines. We will also have a station for sharpening straight knives, scissors and garden tools. If you know what parts are needed, please get them ahead of time. Let us know if you have any questions.

Framingham's Automotive History / Special Lecture & Reception
Saturday, June 15, 3:00 pm & 5:30 p.m. Framingham History Center / Village Hall on the Common. Join us for an exploration of Framingham's deep-rooted automotive history, from stories of R.H. Long and his little-known "Bay State" automobile in the 1920s to the legacy of Framingham's General Motors plant (1946-1989) told from the perspective of its employees. The lecture & discussion will feature a panel discussion from members of the General Motors Framingham plant as well as a vintage car display. Join us for a reception following the lecture with refreshments and cash bar! (Please note that the reception is a separate ticket from the lecture.)
