Miles For Mutts 5K Run/Walk
Save A Dog is hosting it's annual Miles For Mutts 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 8th. Register now at miles4mutt5k.racewire.com. The race starts at the Moose Lodge, 67 Fitchburg St., Marlboro and the course goes along the Assabet River Valley Rail Trail. Check-in and bib pick-up starts at 8:30am, race begins at 10am. $35 for ages 18+, $25 for under 18. Dogs are welcome with walkers only. First 100 to register get a t-shirt and swag bag.

10:00am to 2:00pm -- The City of Framingham invites all community members to participate in the DEA National Take Back Drugs Day on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023. *** The event is aimed at providing a safe and secure opportunity to dispose of unwanted or expired medication. It's a great way to prevent these drugs from falling into the wrong hands and contributing to substance abuse or accidental poisoning. The event will be held in the parking lot between the Memorial Building and Police Station behind 150 Concord St., Framingham, MA *** Proper drug disposal is beneficial to your family, your pets, the community and the environment! *** Event sponsored by Framingham Public Health Department, Medical Reserve Corp & Framingham Police Department.

Shred Fest - Annual Paper Shredding Event (at Recycle Center)
8:00am-2:00pm -- The City of Framingham will hold its annual paper shredding event at the Recycling Drop-off Center, 255 Mount Wayte Ave., Framingham. *** Open to all Framingham residents with a Recycling Center permit. In lieu of a permit, residents may donate non-perishable food items, or gently used clothing. *** All shredding of your confidential documents will be performed on-site by E.L.
