A local group of volunteer acupuncturists is offering free community acupuncture for veterans, active military, first responders and their families. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. The ongoing clinic will be open the hours of 10 a.m.-12 noon every Saturday. Last sitting is 11:30 am. Walk in. No appointment needed. The Jewish War Veterans of Post 157, Metro West encourage you to attend our open house at our new location. We meet at Temple Beth Shalom, 50 Pamela Rd. in Framingham on Tuesday, February 18 at 9:30. We are serving a light breakfast and are going to show our own presentation of "forgotten heroes", it is all about war dogs who served in Vietnam. Our feature is Lucy, a bomb sniffer from Afghanistan, retired from the U.S. Army and an ‘'honorary member" of our post.
