FHS Boys Varsity Hockey & Tribute to Coach Brown (at Loring Arena)
Saturday, February 2nd, 2013, at 6:00pm, join Framingham Hockey in a Tribute to Coach Bobby Brown! *** On-Ice Ceremony to be held at 6:00pm, prior to Flyers Boys Varsity Hockey vs. Braintree Wamps Game *** Loring Arena, 165 Fountain St, Framingham, MA 01702 *** For over a half century Bobby Brown has been a fixture for Framingham Hockey. He's been a volunteer coach at all levels of Framingham Youth hockey, Framingham South High School, and Framingham High School. Bob has served as a varsity assistant, a JV head coach, and one night last February against Medford was the varsity head coach. During his time in Framingham Hockey Bob has been an influence on many high school players including Stanley Cup Champions such as Peter Taglienetti, but his biggest thrill these last few years was getting to teach his own grandsons how to skate and watching them come up through youth hockey. It is with great pride that all of Framingham Hockey salutes Bobby as he retires from coaching. The positive influence he has been on so many people through hockey will never be forgotten.
