Winners of the 2007 Motif Magazine "Best Folk Act" award, the four-member Atwater-Donnelly Band, includes Aubrey, Elwood, Cathy Clasper-Torch (fiddle, cello, and vocals) and Kevin Doyle (percussion, Irish step and tap dance). Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly present delightful programs of traditional American and Celtic folk songs, a capella pieces, old-time gospel songs, dance tunes and original works. Elwood and Aubrey blend gorgeous and unusual harmonies and play guitar, Appalachian mountain dulcimer, mandolin, tin whistle, harmonica, banjo, bones, spoons, lumberjacks, and other surprises including Appalachian clog dancing, French Canadian footwork, and Tap. The Framingham Democratic Town Committee will hold a caucus on Sunday, starting with registration opening at noon.The purpose of the caucus is to elect Framingham's delegates to the 2012 Democratic State Convention, which is set for June 2 in Springfield.The caucus will meet at Nevins Hall in Framingham Town Hall, 150 Concord St. After registration, the caucus will start at 1 p.m. Arrivals after the call to order will not be allowed to register. Anyone registered as a Democrat in Framingham as of Dec. 31, 2011, is eligible to participate.Delegates will be equally divided between men and women. Framingham will elect 16 men, 16 women and five alternates to represent the town. Only those present at the caucus are eligible to be elected.If all delegate seats are not filled by those present, then people who cannot be present and who have informed the chairman of their willingness to serve as a delegate, can be appointed by those present.
