Established by the 1970 Town Meeting, the Human Relations Commission is a group of thirteen
volunteers who address human and civil rights issues within the Town. The Commission provides
oversight to the Human Relations Department, organizes efforts to eliminate bias, and promotes
harmonious relationships between the many diverse groups within the Town.
