BASEBALL

  • Babe Ruth Baseball League - baseball skills and opportunities for the youth of Framingham.   FBRL leagues offer many levels of play including Prep League, Major Leagues, Lou Tompkins League, and Middlesex League.
  • Framingham Little-Big League - offers different levels of play and competitiveness for children between the ages of 6 and 12 in baseball, and children between the ages of 8 and 14 in softball.

BASKETBALL
  • Temple Beth Am Brotherhood Basketball League - 5th grade and up. Program includes league competition for all boys & girls. Register in early October. For more information call Steve Bell at 978-443-5222.


FOOTBALL
  • Pop Warner Football - Football and Cheerleading programs for boys and girls ages 7-15.   FWP is a non profit organization committed to building leadership, learning skills, teamwork and discipline in the young participants of both programs.   Member Pop Warner Bay State Conference of Massachusetts.


HOCKEY
  • Framingham Youth Hockey - registration on going by calling Phil Mauch 877-8772. All levels up to 16 years of age. Beginners age 5-9.


ICE SKATING
  • Loring Skating Arena, Fountain Street, Framingham, MA.  Tel. (508)620-4877   Public ice skating, Birthday Parties, lessons and leagues use the rink at different times.   Call for shedule and available services.
  • Bay Path Figure Skating Club - For info call Albie Minkovitz 877-2662   Programs include beginner skating, Free Style, Parent/Tot program, Adult Lessons, and precision skating teams.   Register in early Sept.  
LACROSSE

  • Framingham Youth Lacrosse, up to age 14. Spring & informal fall seasons.

    RUNNING

    • Greater Framingham Running Club - amiable group of adults who run together on weekend mornings for our own amazement.   We sponsor regular fun runs (sometimes on trails), a Grand Prix race series for competitive runners, coached track sessions for overachievers, a summer track series for kids, a newsletter without personals, and monthly meetings made less ghastly by a fun run and breakfast.   Interested runners are welcome to join us on our fun runs (schedule posted on web site).



    SOCCER

    • Framingham United Soccer Club - youth soccer programs; intramural and (more competitive) travel team leagues for boys and girls ages 6-19, fall and spring seasons.


    WALKING

    • Callahan State Park, Millwood St., Framingham, MA.  Tel. (508)653-9641   Walk, hike or jog in acres of undisturbed natural beauty.   Horseback riding, fishing or a picnic lunch!.   Bring the kids.   Bring the dog.   No admission fees.
