Rotary Club of Framingham Celebrates Renewal of Butterworth Park with Framingham Daze Event

Framingham Cooperative Bank Sponsors Townwide Community Celebration

Framingham, MA, May 6, 2009: The Rotary Club of Framingham will bring the community together for a day of fun, food and festivities on Saturday, June 20th from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM for Framingham Daze Family Fair.

Butterworth Park, between Grant and Bishop Streets, is undergoing a much-needed face lift with a new, fully- accessible playground, and will be home to the event. There will also be a kids’ bouncy castle, dog show, tugs of war, face painting, booths for fun and games, a used book and CD sale, food booth, a General Gau’s cookoff and more. The event is sponsored by Framingham Cooperative Bank.

The day will conclude with the Rotary Club’s annual Rubber Duck Race at 4:00 PM. Ducks are available for “adoption” for $5 each. Or adopt a whole flock for $20. Prizes include a 42” HD-ready TV, GPS system and iPod. Adoption forms are available at Middlesex Savings Bank branches and will also be available on the day of the event.
