FREE SMALL BUSINESS WORKSHOPS

FRAMINGHAM, MA -- The Framingham Division of Community and Economic Development will hold a two part workshop series as part of the Town’s efforts to assist small businesses in the Framingham community. Both workshops are free and open to Framingham business owners and Framingham residents with an interest in the subject matter.

The first workshop, entitled Marketing Your Business, will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2008 in the Ablondi Room of the Framingham Town Hall, beginning at 7:30 p.m. and ending at 9:00 p.m. The second workshop of the series, Cash Flow Planning, will be presented on Thursday, April 3, 2008, same time and location. Light refreshments will be provided.

The workshop will be led by members of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). SCORE is a highly regarded resource for both existing and emerging small businesses seeking ways to maximize their success. SCORE members provide free confidential, professional advice on a wide variety of topics targeting smaller businesses.

These workshops are presented in collaboration with Framingham Downtown Renaissance, Middlesex Savings Bank and MetroWest Chamber of Commerce.

SCORE is also presenting a one day workshop at MassBay in Framingham on Saturday, April 5, titled Complete Business Workshop. Details regarding the workshop and registration will be available at the sessions on March 27 and April 3.
