A local group of volunteer acupuncturists is offering free community acupuncture for veterans, active military, first responders and their families. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. The ongoing clinic will be open the hours of 10 a.m.-12 noon every Saturday. Last sitting is 11:30 am. Walk in. No appointment needed. Winter snow cancellation made by 8 a.m.Please check facebook page.

Veterans: Coffee and Conversation (at McAuliffe Library)
9:30am - 10:30am - We are honored to have at our Friday ,Coffee and ConversationMr Harold Sock. Harold is the the head social individual working with the Court and the Veteran clients. His job is to be a steering director to help these veterans who are in desperate need of counseling to aid in the readjustment period of there problem. The court tries in earnest to aid in there problems and start a rebuilding process. I urge you all to attend.I promise you will not be sorry. He will arrive about 10:00 as he has a prior commitment. Brewkulele: Ukuleles, Drinks, and Good Times at Exhibit A
What is Brewkulele Night? It is an event unlike any other. It is an opportunity to go out with your friends or meet new friends, learn how to play a song on the ukulele, enjoy the delicious offerings from the venue, and have an awesome time doing it! During each event, your Brewkulele guide will lead you through everything you need to know how to play the ukulele and by the time you leave, you will have learned a song or two. Each Brewkulele event has a different theme or song to learn. No previous musical experience is needed!We provide everything you will need for Brewkulele. When you arrive, you will have a seat and a ukulele all tuned up and ready for you. If you have a ukulele, you are more than welcome to bring it.We recommended that you come 15 to 30 minutes early to get settled in and grab a beverage. Food and drinks are not included in ticket price for event. This event is ages 21 and up.Your Brewkulele guide, Ryan, is looking forward to seeing you there!

Open Mic Night
The wildly popular Open Mic Night Presented by Centre Music House has moved to a new location! Located in downtown Framingham, Sofa Cafe will now be hosting this monthly event. Open Mic Night will be presented on the last Friday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. All musicians and budding musicians are welcome to participate in this event. Open Mic Night welcomes participants and audience of all ages. A backline is provided for performers which includes a P.A. system, microphones, drum set, amplifiers, and a keyboard. You may bring your own personal instruments (guitars, woodwinds, brass, violins, etc.) and effects. We look forward to seeing you all there and making Open Mic Night at Sofa Cafe a great success!
