Steel Beam Signing for New McAuliffe Branch Library
Sign the beam! On Saturday, January 31,2015 from 9:00am to 5:00pm, one of the main steel beams to be used in the new McAuliffe branch library, presently under construction at 746 Water Street in Nobscot, will be on display in front of Hemenway School, across the street from the building site. Framingham residents are invited to stop by and add their signatures to the beam to commemorate this milestone in the project. Pens will be provided, and library representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the new building and construction progress. The beam will be under cover in a tent so the event will take place, rain, shine, or snow – hope to see you there!

Veterans Acupuncture Care (VAC)
A local group of volunteer acupuncturists is offering free community acupuncture for veterans, active military, first responders and their families. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. The ongoing clinic will be open the hours of 10 a.m.-12 noon every Saturday. Last sitting is 11:30 am. Walk in. No appointment needed.
