9:00am - 1:00pm - The City of Framingham is holding a (FREE) Household Hazardous Waste disposal / recycling day. Residents may bring items from list below to the Public Works Operations Center, 100 Western Ave., Framingham, MA for recycling or disposal. *** Open to all Framingham Residents. Proof of residency will be required. *** WHAT TO BRING: Pesticides, Herbicides, Bug Sprays, Rodent Poisons, Paint Thinner, Urethanes Oil Based or Enamel Paint, Lead Based Paint, Pool & Spa Chemicals, Concentrated Fertilizers, Cleaning Solvents, Caustic Cleaners, Degreaser, Photo Chemicals, Oil Gasoline/Kerosene, Diesel Oil, Aerosol Cans Containing Paint, Mercury-Containing Devices. **** WHAT NOT TO BRING: NO Radioactive Waste, NO Radioactive-Type Smoke Detectors, NO Explosives, NO Gunpowder, NO Flares, NO Ammunition, NO PCB Oils, NO Bulk Chemicals/Oil, NO Asbestos, NO Medical/Biological Waste, NO "Sharps", NO Items that are collected regularly at the Recycling Center, NO Latex Paint *** NO COMMERCIAL WASTE *** For more information contact the Sanitation Division at 508-532-6001.

Sunset Cemetery Tour (Edgell Grove Cemetery)
5:44 p.m. (sunset) - Help support the Framingham History Center and have some Halloween fun on a lantern guided "Sunset Cemetery Tour" of the Edgell Grove Cemetery! *** Tickets: $10 adults / $5 ages 12-18, (most suited for ages 12+). *** Guided walking tour will feature stops at the burial sites of reinterred Revolutionary War soldiers, the unfortunate Hemenway brothers, cemetery designer Warren Nixon, and Mrs. Frances Lewis Wilson. Enjoy a final story, refreshments, and a display of artifacts belonging to featured luminaries at the beautiful 1885 cemetery chapel. *** Be sure to wear appropriate footwear for walking on dirt roads.
