Open Mic Night
The wildly popular Open Mic Night Presented by Centre Music House has moved to a new location! Located in downtown Framingham, Sofa Cafe will now be hosting this monthly event. Open Mic Night will be presented on the last Friday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. All musicians and budding musicians are welcome to participate in this event. Open Mic Night welcomes participants and audience of all ages. A backline is provided for performers which includes a P.A. system, microphones, drum set, amplifiers, and a keyboard. You may bring your own personal instruments (guitars, woodwinds, brass, violins, etc.) and effects. Sunset Cemetery Tour (Edgell Grove Cemetery)
5:44 p.m. (sunset) - Help support the Framingham History Center and have some Halloween fun on a lantern guided "Sunset Cemetery Tour" of the Edgell Grove Cemetery! *** Tickets: $10 adults / $5 ages 12-18, (most suited for ages 12+). *** Guided walking tour will feature stops at the burial sites of reinterred Revolutionary War soldiers, the unfortunate Hemenway brothers, cemetery designer Warren Nixon, and Mrs. Frances Lewis Wilson. Enjoy a final story, refreshments, and a display of artifacts belonging to featured luminaries at the beautiful 1885 cemetery chapel. *** Be sure to wear appropriate footwear for walking on dirt roads.
