IAFSA 140th Anniversary Celebration Exhibit(Final weeks - ends October 31st.)A celebration of Framingham State alumni and retrospective exhibit of life as a student, from pranks and pageants, to sports and dorm life. The exhibit features vintage fashions, scrapbooks, alumni achievements and more showcased in a gracious 1917 Arts and Crafts house. Come explore the "hidden" maid's room and butler's pantry and learn about how a Framingham State grad invented the chocolate chip cookie and other alumni achievements. Alumni House, Home of the Independent Association of Framingham State Alumni, 42 Adams Road, Framingham. All welcome. Free admission. Veterans Acupuncture Care (VAC)
A local group of volunteer acupuncturists is offering free community acupuncture for veterans, active military, first responders and their families. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. The ongoing clinic will be open the hours of 10 a.m.-12 noon every Saturday. Last sitting is 11:30 am. Walk in. No appointment needed.
