Framingham Latino Festival
Union Latina de Framingham holds its inaugural Latino festival at Farm Pond Park on Dudley Road in Framingham from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 23.At the festival, Union Latina plans to unify the diverse community in MetroWest through networking, ethnic foods and free cultural entertainment.

Motorcycle Charity Ride - Framingham - 2015 New England Ride for Kids
Every day, 13 children in the United States get the news that they have one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer.These kids are our Stars, and you can help them by participating in a Ride for Kids event as a motorcyclist, fundraiser or volunteer. Framingham event is at BOSE Headquarters, Framingham.Riders on all makes and models are welcome to attend. There is no registration fee! Online registration is open until noon Eastern on the Friday before the ride. Onsite registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:30 a.m.The escorted ride starts at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine! The ride will loop back to the start point.At the event, we draw for a new Honda motorcycle and other great prizes (must be present to win). Veterans Acupuncture Care Metrowest
A local group of volunteer acupuncturists is offering free community acupuncture for veterans, active military, first responders and their families. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. The ongoing clinic will be open the hours of 10 a.m.-12 noon every Saturday. Last sitting is 11:30 am. Walk in. No appointment needed. Announcing Free Lesson Day at the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC), Sunday August 30, 2015 from 1:00-5:00 pm. Take a private 30 minute lesson in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, ukulele, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, clarinet, flute or drums.This is a good opportunity to meet the PAC faculty and determine if lessons are appropriate for children, teens or adults. Reservations preferred by calling the PAC office at (508) 875-5554. Walk-ins accommodated when possible. Some instruments provided. Free and open to the public. PAC is located at 140 Pearl Street, on the third floor of the Danforth Museum Building, in downtown Framingham.
