Shop our Book Room, arranged by category like a bookstore; browse the nicer quality selection in the lobby Book Sale room; or hunt for goodies in the Bag Room where you can fill a paper grocery bag for just $7. The lobby special this month is crafting. We have numerous books on various crafts, as well as knitting needles, crochet and Tunisian hooks, wool tapestry yarn, embroidery thread, and miscellaneous notions. Proceeds from the sale support library programming, museum passes, and more.

Wayside's 8th Annual 5K4Kids Run/Walk & Halloween Festival

Weekend of Spirit
"Circles of Healing: Our Selves, Our Communities, Our World" Join Open Spirit for our 5th Annual Weekend of Spirit, coming up October 20 and 21. Through shared meals, music, conversation, art projects and experiential workshops, we will delve into our theme: "Circles of Healing: Our Selves, Our Communities, Our World." Friday evening begins at 6 pm, with a Shabbat supper for people from all spiritual perspectives Saturday begins with registration at 9 am, and includes an opening presentation, two sets of workshops, a healing spa, art projects and an anti-racism game, and lots of great food and conversation. To register, email registration@openspiritcenter.org. Early bird discount (by Oct. 5): $25 for the entire weekend ($10 for Friday night; $20 for Saturday).
