Free Dinner for MetroWest Veterans and Their Families
To honor our armed forces veterans, and to show our deep appreciation for their service, The Plymouth Church, Edwards Church, and Open Spirit joyfully invite all veterans living in MetroWest, and their families, to a FREE honorary dinner at The Plymouth Church, 87 Edgell Road in Framingham, on Sunday, November 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The dinner includes grilled chicken, vegetable lasagna, roasted potatoes, vegetable, salad, bread, and homemade desserts. The evening will also feature speakers, husband and wife, Trenton and Janice Parsons, both U.S. Marine Veterans who served in the Iraq war and who now serve our community as Boston Firefighters. Music will be provided by Dave Jost/Don Ryan Jazz Duo.All MetroWest veterans and their families are invited. Please RSVP to 508.875.1364 by Monday, November 5, to be entered in a raffle.

Framingham Veteran's Services hosts Veteran's Day Program on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM in Nevins Hall.*** Keynote speaker will be Jacki Wolf, U.S. Air Force Reserve Veteran & U.S. Army Veteran, and Coordinator of Veteran Services at Framingham State University. *** During service, eight Commonwealth of Massachusetts Medals of Liberty will be presented to Gold Star family members of Service Personnel killed in action, or that died of wounds inflicted during war, honoring the ultimate sacrifice of the following service members: *** 2nd LT Patrick J. 125 Years of Coming Together - A Community Art Puzzle Project
This year, MetroWest Medical Center celebrates its 125th anniversary. That's 125 years of our medical center and the communities we serve coming together to make something great. We're inviting the kids in our community to decorate a puzzle piece to express what MetroWest Medical Center means to them. Their art will be put on display at MetroWest's Leonard Morse Campus in Natick on Saturday, November 17, showing how all our pieces fit together to make one great picture. Puzzle piece templates will be available in the lobby of MetroWest Medical Center's Framingham and Natick campuses starting October 13. Completed pieces are due by 5 p.m. on November 13 in the lobby of either campus. Then, join us for our Artist Reception and see your artwork on display Saturday, November 17, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in HELM Auditorium at our Natick Campus, Leonard Morse Hospital.

Open Mic Night
The wildly popular "Open Mic Night Presented by Centre Music House" has moved to a new location! Located in downtown Framingham, Sofa Cafe will now be hosting this monthly event. Open Mic Night will be presented on the last Friday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. A backline is provided for performers which includes a P.A. system, microphones, drum set, amplifiers, and a keyboard.
