Canning Workshop. 2.0
If you would like to learn how to make pickles and preserves, we invite you to join us, Transition Framingham, on Saturday, Nov 9, from 12:30-4:30pm. This workshop will provide information and guidance, plus all materials and ingredients needed to can Pumpkin Pickles and Cranberry-Port Preserves. Charge is only $10. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. The ongoing clinic will be open the hours of 10 a.m.-12 noon every Saturday. Last sitting is 11:30 am. Walk in. No appointment needed. This is the story of the USS Quincy, an American heavy cruiser built in, and named after, the city of Quincy. Once World War II hostilities commenced in 1941, the Quincy was assigned to the Atlantic until mid 1942 when she joined the Pacific fleet for the invasion of Guadalcanal. On the night of August 9th, she was engaged in a fierce night battle with a Japanese surface force. Quincy suffered severe damage and sank along with three other Allied cruisers, in a devastating blow to the US navy. This is the story of the courageous men who did their very best, despite finding themselves in a desperate situation. Refreshments by Trader Joe's.
