A local group of volunteer acupuncturists is offering free community acupuncture for veterans, active military, first responders and their families. The program addresses issues related to post combat stress such as sleep, anxiety, panic or other mood changes. VAC is located at St. Andrew's Church 3 Maple St. Framingham MA. The ongoing clinic will be open the hours of 10 a.m.-12 noon every Saturday. Last sitting is 11:30 am. Walk in. No appointment needed. Boston native Will Dailey is a three-time winner of Boston Music Awards, and his 2015 CD, National Throat, has already won Album of the Year from Improper Bostonian. Cattaneo has been a songwriting professor at Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music for 13 years. You'll hear a blend of country, rock and soul with sparkles of blues and folk. Her album "Little Big Sky" was nominated for Best Country Album for the 13th Independent Music Awards. The music she's pursuing now is going down a darker, more brooding path. Blessing of the Animals (at Edwards Church)
On Sunday, September 13, at 10:00am, Edwards Church, United Church of Christ, in Framingham, will hold a Blessing of the Animals, followed by a Picnic with our Pets. *** The service will be held outdoors, weather permitting, and all of God's creatures are invited to attend.
